Jay began this work in residential treatment, working with youth with significant mental health issues, transitioning into working with at-risk adults and youth in vocational rehabilitation. 

 

As a trainer for the MANDT system of crisis intervention and de-escalation for over two decades, Jay continues within this role as a trainer for Lifeworks staff. Beginning his master’s work in the field of social work, Jay obtained his master’s degree in religious studies from Central Theological Seminary, and he and Susan serve together as the worship pastors. 

 

Jay’s job title is Management Utility Player for Lifeworks because of his ability to competently serve in several positions and is a jack of all trades, master of many. Jay’s technical savvy and experience within the mental health field makes him an invaluable resource to both our company and the families we serve.
