Emily is a graduate of University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Emily and her husband have been foster adoptive parents for over 40 kids and are the parents of 7 children (six through adoption).

 

Emily is highly committed to serving the foster adoptive community and has described her work as part of who she is. From the beginning of the Brain Focused Facilitator (BFF) program, Emily has helped shape the program into what it is today and what it is becoming.

 

Emily is currently the supervisor of the facilitators and has been known to work as a BFF with one kid while picking up another who has run away and writing a safety plan for that family, while cooking dinner for her own! She is truly superwoman and highly valued by the Lifeworks team.
