Justin began his relationship with Lifeworks for clinical supervision in 2007 after graduating with his Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. At the same time, Justin provided training and foster care licensing for families who still talk about his ability to connect with them and set them at ease.  

 

In 2009, Justin joined our team full time, with his passion for working with foster and adoptive families being even more evident as he began his post graduate specialization in the field of attachment and bonding. Trained in EMDR and trauma informed care, Justin has a special way of holding space for those with whom he works, as his calming presence brings confidence to parents and helps him connect with kids.  

 

Even after all these years, Justin is still the "cool one of the bunch," probably because of his awesome long hair and amazing drumming skills, and his side gigs with his worship band at his church, which includes a little rock-a-billy now and then.
